Play & Develop

Learning Skills
As your child plays with the elephant fountain and follows directives, like “Let’s put the ball on the trumpet,” or “Where is the umbrella?” they begin to understand simple instructions.
Knowledge Acquisition
Seeing water create movement demonstrates physics and core STEM principles like how machines and processes work. Flipping the tail to start the fountain, putting the ball onto the trumpet’s stream of water, or moving the twistable trunk from side to side exposes your child to indirect, complex cause and effect.
Imagination & Creativity
The delightful elephant fountain creates a circus scene in which your child can imagine they are participating. Prompt them not just to play but to describe what they imagine happening and the story that is unfolding in their minds.

Fine Motor Skills
As your child plays with the fountain, it reinforces fine motor skills. The accessories that can be put on and switched out are made for easy manipulation with small hands. The tail is activated with a simple pincer grip.
Senses
Your child will love being able to experience the different sensations of various sprinkles of water. They will also enjoy the ability to control the sensations and its characteristics when they choose from the various attachments.
Coordination
Attaching the different accessories, putting a finger on the Elefountain trunk to stop the water flow and especially placing the ball on top of the sprinkling trumpet, all support the development of your child’s hand-eye coordination.

Communication
Encourage your child to be within the story that surrounds the toy. As they tell the story, encourage them to connect 2-3 words in sentences, using nouns, verb, and adjectives, too. Increase their vocabulary speaking to them at a human level, not in baby-speak.
Self-Expression
When your child is able to select the fountain accessory that suits them and create the water effect they want at any given moment, it empowers them to feel they can express themselves.
Confidence
The small success of creating an entertaining water show in the fountain is a boost to your child’s confidence. Encourage them to use the twistable trunk accessory to spray their doll or themselves to give an even greater sense of independence.

2. WARNNING: don’t use rechargeable batteries.
3. Use quality batteries of a known brand.
4. Make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed after every time you change the batteries -
Is this product BPA free?
Yes, this product is BPA free.
-
What age is this product for?
This product is recommended for children ages 18-36 months old. No matter what their age, you should never leave a child unattended in the bathroom or bathtub.
-
How do I set up the Elefountain in the tub?
Connect the suction cup unit to the base of the elephant fountain and insert the batteries. Attach the elephant to the bottom of the tub, with its suction cups inside the water.
-
What types of batteries are needed to operate the product?
4 X AA (LR6) batteries (not included) of good quality and a known brand are needed. WARNNING: don’t use rechargeable batteries.
-
How do I insert the batteries?
Before inserting the batteries, ensure the product is thoroughly dry! To insert batteries, first you must locate the battery cover on the bottom of the elephant’s stage, it’s the round cover with a straight groove. Unscrew the battery compartment cover by inserting the designated/provided key into the groove and turning it counterclockwise. Pull out the battery case and insert 4 x 1.5v AA (LR6) batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Place the battery case back into its compartment and screw cover into place until the lock and line marks are aligned. Attention! Before putting the elephant back in the water, make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed.
-
I inserted batteries but the Elefountain is still not working. What can I do?
Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. First, dry off the product thoroughly, then follow the above instructions to verify correct polarity (+/-) insertion for each battery, and proper sealing of the battery compartment. Put the elephant back in the water and try operating the product once more. If it still doesn’t work, try using new batteries and clean the propeller and filter, as described below. If that too doesn’t get the water flowing, please contact our customer support center.
-
How do I activate the product ?
Flip the elephant’s tail to activate the elephant fountain.
-
What is the required water level for operating the Elefountain Water Show?
The water level should cover at least most of the stage and should not go over the elephant trunk.
-
What are the different accessories ?
The accessories include a twistable trunk spray accessory, a spinning umbrella, and a trumpet that can spin a colorful ball in its fountain.
-
What do I do if the product stops working?
The product may stop working when the propeller or filter are blocked by dirt, hair, or soap. In order to fix this, simply unscrew the filter (located on the bottom of the product) and pull it out. Wash with soap and water until the filter mesh is clean. Then make sure the propeller rotates freely (see instruction video here). If it doesn’t, try to release whatever is causing it to be stuck with a screwdriver, and clean it off until it rotates freely again. When the elephant is sparkly clean, reinsert the filter and attach the screw. If the elephant is still not splashing water, change the batteries and make sure to tightly close the battery compartment lid (see instructions above). If the product still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support center.
-
I replaced the batteries and found that there was water in the battery compartment or a rusty battery. What should I do?
The battery compartment may not have been closed properly. It is very important to make sure the cover is sealed correctly. Before re-operating, take out the battery case and empty the batteries. Wipe the compartment and battery case. Only when completely dry, insert new batteries, place the battery case in the compartment, screw the cover tightly into place until the lock and line marks are aligned, and try to operate the product. If the elephant still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support center.
-
The pump is working, but the water is not flowing. What should I do?
If you hear the pump working but water is not coming out, it probably means that air is blocking the pump. First, stop its operation and detach the elephant from the tub. Then, while holding it out of the water, try shaking the elephant’s body for a few seconds to release the air. Once the water is drained from it, put it back in the water, and start it back up.
-
How should I store the toy between baths?
There is a storage basket for storing the accessories in between baths so they can dry.
-
What should I do if I notice mold developing?
It is recommended to properly rinse, drain, and dry out the product after every use. Unless you do that, Yookidoo® bath toys will need a good cleaning every two weeks or so in order to remain mold-free. When a thorough cleaning is required, fill up a bucket with water and add in some vinegar. Let the toy soak in the vinegar water for around 20 minutes, then turn it on and off a few times to circulate the water through the pump. repeat this step with clean water ro wash the vinegar out. Rinse it off and dry using a paper or cloth towel. To watch an instruction video click here.
-
What is the date code and where can I find it on the product?
