Easily attach the battery-operated spout and the spinning gear to the side of the tub using the suction cups, making sure the spout’s blue pump is submerged in the bath water.
Designed especially for small hands, allow your child to press on the large, silly-eyed diver button to start the flow of water for hours of fun in the tub.
Match shapes and sort colors as you fit the different gears into the correct place.
Position the spinning gear under the spout and watch how the water sets the wheels in motion and twirls the googly eyes, putting physics into play. The gears float in the tub water making it easier to play.
Place each of the three bath tumblers under the stream to experience their different straining and spraying effects.
Watch the water spin the propeller and try to stop it with your finger.
Place the float in the tumbler and fill it with water for a silly and wet game of peek-a-boo.
Stack the tumblers in the spout’s swivel arm and watch as the water runs through them all.
Block the water stream with your finger and prepare to get wet as the crazy sprinkler begins squirting water.
Let your child fill and spill water into the bath and on their body.
Store the tumblers on the swivel arm to dry up and get ready for another exciting bath tomorrow…

Play & Develop

Learning skills
Operating the spout on their own helps develop problem solving skills and exposes children to the principle of cause and effect – from starting and stopping the flow of water, to positioning the tumblers under the flow, and sorting and constructing the gears to spin together.
Knowledge Acquisition
Demonstrate basic principles of physics through the power of water to activate things and create speed and movement – turning the propeller, raising the float, and spinning the gears. Raise concepts like full and empty, heavy and light, and buoyancy.
Curiosity
The various colors, the variety of activities, game modes, and surprising water effects ignite your child’s curiosity to explore the product in-depth. It will encourage your child to experiment with it in different ways, stimulating curiosity for the world around them.

Fine Motor Skills
Designed especially for little hands, this put and take play and activating and playing with the spout presents many great opportunities to develop your child’s fine motor skills and strengthen hand-eye coordination – pressing the on/off button, stacking the tumblers, sorting the gears, and more.
Coordination
So many aspects of the spout, tumblers, and gears require and improve hand-eye and limb movement coordination – stacking the tumblers, positioning them under the spout, sorting and assembling the gears, and even dunking the silly float in the tumbler.
Senses
The Spout’s various flows – the gentle stream, the sprinkle of the tumbler, the splashes of the propeller and spinning gear – promote sensory development. In addition, the colors, movements, and sound of the water create a multisensory experience that encourages meaningful learning.

Self-Expression
Your child’s sense of humor begins to develop at a very young age. Introduce silliness and fun to bath time with the spout’s big-eyed button and tumblers, the googly-eyed gear, the surprising sprinkler, and the peek-a-boo float.
Confidence
For toddlers, every little win is a huge confidence boost, and the Spin 'N' Sort Spout Pro offers many simple accomplishments that were developed for their precise abilities – from aiming for the water stream and ‘catching’ it with the tumblers, to stacking the cups.
Communication
Bath time with the Spin ‘N’ Sort Spout Pro can be an opportunity to improve communication and language skills – name the colors, describe actions, even order ‘a cup of tea’ in a tumbler then laugh when the water pours out before you even receive it.

"... it's so cute, with so many options for her to play with...I also use it to teach her shapes and colors...and how a small cup can float in a large cup if it is full of water...my daughter LOVES it...I highly recommend. Excellent cost for a very good toy." | Heni , California

Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. First, dry off the product thoroughly, then follow the above instructions to verify correct polarity (+/-) insertion for each battery, and proper sealing of the battery compartment. Try operating the product once more. If it still doesn’t work, try using new batteries and clean the propeller and filter, as described below. If that too doesn’t get the water flowing, please contact our customer support center.

Unless you do that, Yookidoo® bath toys will need a good cleaning every two weeks or so in order to remain mold-free. When a thorough cleaning is required, fill up a bucket with water and add in some vinegar. Let the spout soak in the vinegar water for around 20 minutes, then activate it a few times to circulate the water through it. Repeat this step with clean water to wash out the vinegar. Rinse the spout off and dry using a paper or cloth towel.
