Cognitive Development
With figures hidden beneath the book flaps, baby will begin to understand that objects that are not visible at the moment can still exist. Draw attention to object permanence by exclaiming peek-a-boo.

As your baby draws aside the differently textured materials in the book, playing peek-a-boo, they begin to use the fine motor page-turning skills that will accompany them someday into actual reading.
Place the book before baby during tummy time, and the visual and auditory stimulation will prompt repeated head lifting. Tracking moving lights while seated, builds baby’s core stability and develops hand-eye coordination.
