Encourage independent walking as your child leads the duck by pulling a string, which activates the automatic whistling and singing along the way.
As it is pulled, the duck whistles and sings and the coaster on the duck’s back rotates. When the duck stops, the sounds stop so your child experiences the cause and effect process.
This 2 in 1 toy is full of surprises. Have your child take a break to play with the coaster cylinder which can be removed from the duck’s back, rolling it freely and moving the beads along their twisted tracks.
Let the Pull Along Duck whistle and call your baby to play when left unattended, igniting their curiosity and keeping them engaged. The duck will keep calling in increasing gaps between intervals, and will stop calling after 10 minutes.
The duck’s head which can be moved/turned from side to side makes a wacky ratchet sound.
Easy to operate tail with an on/off switch for mute play mode.

Play & Develop

Learning Skills
As toddlers grasp the string and pull the duck, stopping and starting the sounds, they begin to understand cause and effect. Use the bead cylinder to demonstrate skills - how to place and remove the cylinder on the back of the duck, pushing the beads from side to side as you narrate their colors.
Knowledge Acquisition
As the child interacts with the duck, they start to understand that they are acting upon the environment, for example that when they pull the duck, the force they use determines how quickly or slowly the duck will move.
Curiosity
Watching the movement of the cylinder’s beads and gears ignites a child’s curiosity as to how things work and interact. You can follow the movement with a finger and narrate what you and your child see.

Fine Motor Skills
As your child moves the cylinder beads, their pincer grasp will develop further, and transition to more complex movement — from using the pads of the hand to using the index finger and thumb more.
Gross Motor Skills
The novelty of being able to pull the duck and set off the music encourages a child to walk and to accomplish multiple gross motor tasks at once, coordinating the string as they walk, looking behind them, and balancing in their gait.
Senses
The toy includes multiple textures with the beads and gears. It also ignites the senses through the sound of music and whistling, and the visual stimulation of the spinning movement. Encourage your child to linger as they experience these senses.

Self-Expression
Interacting with the duck, asking questions or voicing emotion as it is pulled along, allows the child to express themselves comfortably with a familiar, constant friend. Encourage your child to connect to the duck and take comfort from its presence.
Communication
As children naturally seek out faces, the big eyes of the duck will nurture this instinct for communication and engagement. Roll the cylinder back and forth between you and your child, developing their social play skills.
Confidence
The ability to pull the duck at will, slowly or quickly, stopping and starting its sounds, allows the child to feel confident in acting upon their own environment. The duck’s call to the child to play after it has been left unattended will allow the child to feel wanted and included, further inspiring confidence.

"I purchased this item for my one year old grandson for his birthday. I now have to purchase another one as both of my grandson's fight over it! It helps get them moving...as they love the quacking and whistling when it is pulled...All in all, I would recommend this toy, it's been a big hit in our family" | Nick
